Hii, helloo, I am Ether. My general aesthetics contradict eachother quite a bit but my digital presence takes on more of the 'cyber' styles. In person I typically am more aligned with a vintage style and my room is an odd mix of Howl's bedroom from Howl's Moving Castle and a 2000s anime nerd so do with that information what you will.
I've been on the internet since the 2010's which isn't very long but it did mean I caught the last of the internets glory before it went to hell so I've luckily been filled with a hatred of the modern internet-scape and the desire to want a better place for us all on it. Long live the days of internet creativity where cringe was good and showing personality wasn't 'too much' sigh. Either way, I am finding a creative outlet on here in a sort of way I have never really felt before and it is helping me get back to a mental state that isn't so reliant on doomscrolling and awful video games *cough cough Overwatch* that never realy made me happy.
-Motives-
I've always really like characters that either run tech related stores or they're the inventive and fixer-upper types so repairwork has kind of been pretty baked in my being from the beginning and more so when I got a job in mobile phone repair I was pretty excited and still am quite thankful I got taught what I did from my great coworkers, love you Ben and Garima! (Don't work for big chain repair places, they'll scrape every living breath from you as unpaid work and still hound you for unrealistic sales). I don't work there anymore but I kinda want to go back to some sort of repair work, maybe with computers this time. On top of the characters I really like the aesthetics when I was growing up was very much looking towards the future of technology while still being fun. I remember a lot of the jelly shell gadgets, nightcore everywhere, Minecraft Youtube was in it's best years.....good times :,]
-Current Drives-
My computer/laptop as of late July of 2026 is slowly dying (gpu melting, fun) so I have to seriously be careful with what I do on it so it doesn't overheat and crash. Currently it is only crashing like twice in a day when being super careful. But it has made it so I can no longer play Overwatch/Marvel Rivals and those sorts of intensive games without it freaking out and I can't even have Youtube on without it crashing randomly (something about idle programs making faulty gpu's just blackout) so what I have access to has significantly shrunk and I'm also switching to a flip-phone so I'm kind of going back to how things were before this war on attention and I am absolutely living it up. Been really digging Jet Set Radio for a while as well as Thrasher's rollerblading clips and ThemSkates stuff so for me it's the Y2K era again and that's all that matters.

I'm sorta colourblind so that's why some colours may be a little off. I'm Australian (if I hear or see one 'oh naur' I'm going to fucking deck you).
